We are looking for three trainees for our company to train as chemical laboratory assistants as of 01.09.2024.
Chemisches Institut Burkon Partnerschaft is a freelance commercial laboratory based in Nuremberg. As a family-run company, we have been the competent contact for our customers in matters of food analytics & legal consulting for over 50 years. Our cross-sector client base, which ranges from small regional food companies to internationally active global players from the production and retail sectors, benefits from our broad service portfolio. In addition to the chemical, microbiological, immunological and sensory examination of foodstuffs, this includes the preparation of (counter-sample) expert reports, on-site crisis management and competent food law advice from our expert assessors. Our range of chemical-analytical tests covers a large number of ingredients and additives as well as residues and contaminants in a wide variety of matrices. We use state-of-the-art analytical equipment and methods for our investigations.
Chemical laboratory technicians work primarily in research, development and production laboratories in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the paint and coatings industry or the food industry, as well as in service laboratories. They are also employed in natural science and medical institutes of universities. In addition, they can work in chemical testing and consulting companies or at environmental agencies, among others.
During your training in our laboratory, you will learn the basics of chemical and instrumental analysis. You will receive comprehensive training in our laboratory in all areas, including physical, gravimetric, wet-chemical, instrumental-analytical and microbiological examination methods. After your training, you will be able to supervise a wide range of analytical methods from planning to extraction/processing to measurement and evaluation.
You should have at least an intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife) or higher.
